One of my first in-person classes coming out of the pandemic was performing robots with Michael Shiloh. It was an eyeopening experience that helped me to re-vitalize my love of learning, mechanics, and robotics. Throughout the class we not only built a series small robots of increasing complexity, but also developed an understanding of the different ways robots fit into our world today.
The class culminated in a group production of Snow white and the seven dwarves. I Developed the robot for snow white and drove/coded our special surprise guest, spot the Boston Dynamics Robot dog who played price charming.
